1860 BB farthing - inverted reverse type?

Recommended Posts

Hi, this coin is with inverted reverse but I am not sure - it is "inverted reverse" type, and if "yes", is this coin common?

What do you think about grade in UK standard - maybe Fine?

Thanks

A bit better than that I would say. Probably NVF with the obverse teetering on the edge of VF maybe.

The 1860 farthing with the inverted reverse is the toothed border variety, not the beaded border. From the image, it looks as though the reverse and obverse are the same way up, which is the correct orientation.

Thanks for the information.

Reverse is not 180 degrees rotated, but it is rotated as pictured - image is with thin paper tape and visible reverse rotated - maybe 15-25 degrees approx.

There are some rotations of that order (though many many more lesser, say 5-10º). Yours is interesting and a curiosity, but not a valuable variety.
