Hey everyone, just an interested visitor, not really a collector.

In my selection of 100 coins I have a half penny (1916) w/ a corrogated border around George V's head. I can't find it recorded anywhere. Image of obverse below.

Any interesting history/information available?

This sort of thing tends to get done to coins from time to time. It was probably just somebody with a bit of time to kill, some kind of tool and an old penny...
