Wow, all of a sudden there were 3 new American looking faces!

Sylvester did mention he would go recruting tonight, and he has obviously left the Kings shilling in the bottom of your glasses.

Welcome.

Are you by any chance the chap who bought the George III Coin book off me earlier, and knows Tom?

He never usually needs all that much persuading does he ;) With all his student loans going on coins I wonder what he uses for books, or what he eats?

I sometimes think there must only be about 50 serious coin collectors in the world....And I probably know 45 of them! And you didn't find this place without being told about it first?

Eats ?? :o Why spend money that could be well used on coins on superfluous items like food

Yeah - Sylvester needs some gentle persuasion from time to time. Why I've seen him go a month or more without buying a coin

That's when I usually post a pic of some gold doo-dad and get him all excited

I believe most of the time 48 of them are bidding against me when I am after that coin I've been looking for!

We most certainly will not! You'll find us very much set in our ways. You'd better be careful you don't start speaking and spelling properly. (Watch out for Emperor Oli ;))

The last regular American hasn't been back for quite a while after I think I may have offended her

What is a "regular American" Chris?

I guess that means my car has a hood not a bonnet, have no "u" in my color and don't get to see the Queen at Christmas? :D

No I meant, the last American to use this forum on a regular basis. I couldn't possibly say what a 'regular American' was, as I'm quite sure you have a diverse and varied culture, and it would be far to complicated to generalise. I'll tell you when I've been to America and seen for myself.

I live in Germany, so I'm afraid I miss the Queens speech too.

Well, in case she comes back, I won't say.

Don't want to go airing dirty laundry, but it was nothing to do with the way she spoke/spelled. I said something that i think she must have taken as being quite rude.
