inverted (I) Double Florin coin in the reign of Queen Victoia.

The obverse isn't fine let alone VF. The reverse is marginally better than the obverse but with marks near the shield. Value - someone on ebay will probably pay £10-15 because the inverted 1 double florins punch above their weight as an error (which it isn't being a flawed I).

I don't want to disappoint you, but the first thing I would say is that the coin appears to be Fine rather than Very Fine. Value approx. £20. If you were to sell to a dealer maybe £12? I would like to have a closer look at that 'I' though.

It looks like a normal I to me, just the bottom of the I is a little worn to the left making it look like an inverted 1

That's the error. It's actually not an inverted 1 - it's a filling die which happens kind of gradually so there are stages of it. This one looks like a partway stage.
