i have just joined this forum and i find it very interesting, i have been collecting for nearly 50 years and have ove 6,000 coins and 2,000 bank notes. my main areas of collecting are GB (obviously), german states and french and scottish bank notes.

Wow, thats quite a few coins and notes there cartwheel, you'll be on a par with scott who collects everything, he should actually change his name to hoover

You are welcome.. my collection is being reduced...I have hundreds of coins and notes tucked away but now its being reduced..I was always a date collector but now just keeping choice (apart from farthings ;)BTW a certain German supermarket are doing aluminium coin case's with 5 trays for £8.99...I'm tempted
