1874 florin

Just got this 1874 florin and im wondering if the v of iv in the date is normally closed or not, im aware there is a iv over iii varient, but am i right in thinking my coin is the regular coin and the v is normally closed?....

just checked esc and mine is die #38 which guides me to a normal coin.

that is helpful as it means mine is a standard coin......perhaps its normal to close the v then, thanks for your reply....ski.

just seen a very nice uncirculated 1884 and the v is closed in on that coin too, i think that gives me the answer to my question. Thanx all......ski :)
