Hammered penny - London?

Recommended Posts

Hi, help me please:)

This coin is 1.3 grams, I think Edward I - or not?

Also - approx. price in this condition?

Adn can you confirm that it`s from London? Looks LORDOR to me, but maybe is normal for these coins R instead N?

Thanks :)

Hi, sorry - my mistake. Looks used small "n" for all "N", maybe normal for this type coins.

Can you help me with approx. value in similar grade? Thanks.

I would expect something between £10 and £20...it has had a hard life but still keepable.

If you get a fully struck well rounded London eddie it could be worth £50+ a bargain in my opinion....and some of the rarer mints a lot more.
