If anybody was at the sale today I would appreciate a heads up on the price of lot 1155 (1893/2 Penny).

Thanks in hope and anticipation!

Crikey, now you're asking! My recollection was that it went for a bit more than upper estimate but I didn't keep a record.

Currently sorting out the 153 coins I bought...

A good day then!

You really must get into the habit of recording the hammer price in your catalogue!!!

Thanks,

And I wonder about the 1852 3d currency or not? I vote not. What did it fetch?

London results are online.

The 1893/2 realised £1600 + premium :blink::blink: so I guess my example will be coming off the bay with only £77 on it at the moment!

:huh::blink: 1058 made £420 (Fair) and 1059 made £2000 (VF). The other VF one must have been withdrawn/unsold. 18% to add to those prices!!!!:huh::blink:

I see that the 1828 halfcrown (lot 1024) that sold for £1200 (+ costs) is already for sale on eBay for an eye-watering £2100.

I know the high bidder and may be able to reach an agreement with him if I pull it ;)

Phew! Thank God for that, my head was aching trying to remember all the hammer prices you were asking me for.
