doesnt look it from the scan, there are no lines or finger prints, and the inside of the lettering does not look toned :)

I didn't think that it looked cleaned, maybe the seller is just being cautious about those black spots. ;)

It looks a bit iffy - I think he's right to play it safe. Something about the jewellery on the bust doesn't ring true with a coin that is purporting to be in that condition. It should be much sharper imho.

Cleaning usually produces hairlines, the coin does look a bit odd. BUYER BEWARE.
