I just bought one of these off the bay for £6 delivered (from a mint bag)

bearing in mind there was only 10,000 minted compared to 200,000 mule 20p's get in now

Against my better judgement this will hopefully return a nice profit to buy something...predecimal

Nice spoof - get it in the Sun. The smaller the number involved, the easier it is for the readers to get their heads around it.

I'll keep quiet about the 50000 presentation packs, 20000 Ag proofs, 3500 Ag piedforts, the gold pieces....

In the past the Unc Mint Set issues and circulation issues for some denominations (including the fifty pence) differed with the letters being placed further or closer to the edge.
