We have just been given a trial Tastecard (1 month) which gives us 50% off or 2 for 1 on food at selected restaurants.I've just searched local restaurants and there are only 3 that offer this deal.

However if you use the Money saving expert site there are many free vouchers/deals available.I highly recommend this site.

I've used it and made a lot of savings and picked up many usefull tips.

OK some of the posters have a whiff of dog blanket about them (especially in the food/supermarket section)but it's well worth a search.

I remember 12 years ago when our local curry house in the Midlands offered a discount card - I can't remember the exact price but I think it was around £20 for 6 months? You could get 2 mains (eat in or takeaway) for the price of 1, so it soon paid for itself (I would go there every week )
