Hi , can anyone tell me about these. They look like silver are they old coins ? tokens or just scrap . They were in a collection of old coins from my late fathers coin collection with realy unusual looking coins/tokens .post-6949-037883000 1317041311_thumb.jpg

Have you tried your local Chinese restaurant.

The moral of the story here is make sure all your coins are ID'd.

Possibly Japanese silver, can you give me the weight, and I'll have a go

145 gramms is hell of a lump of silver are you sure you don't mean 14.5 gramms

Can't find anything for certain in Kraus, their illustrations and yours show too little datail

Could be something like these

Suggest you try the British Museum or ask the folks at Oriental Coin Database
