American Silver Eagle

Recommended Posts

I've just bought a 2011 American Silver Eagle.

Is it normal for the head and tail side not to be the same way up?

Regards

Andrew

I've had a look at a few websites featuring them, and none give the orientation I'm afraid.

Thanks for the reply, I had spent quite sometime on the web searching for the information, but like you I found nothing.

I have posted the same question on a US coin site so hope someone there will know the answer.

Regards

Andrew

I have just had a reply on the US forum, It seems all US coins share the same orientation. I have checked with the other Us coins I have and they are the same. Just me panicking that I had bought a fake!

regards

Andrew
