2008 20p - what's the latest on the cracked die?

Hello everybody,

I'm a newbie to the site and a sort of newbie to coin collecting. I had an extensive collection many years ago that was stolen. I started collecting again when I retired and I'm doing it for fun and for my great, great, great,....grandchildren, as the collection might be worth something by then. Enough of me!

I picked up on a thread in Nov 2009 about the 1 or i on some 2008 20p coins. What's the latest information? Is it a cracked die? I have 3 of these coins in various stages of 1-ness or i-ness if you prefer. Is there any worth to them?
