So I noticed a coin on ebay last night...

Recommended Posts

it was titled "india bengal presidency pattern pie AH 1228 KM Pn25 high grade" I had a quick look in Krause to verify the claim but couldn't see it and was tired so I went to bed. While at work today the auction was due to finish during my afternoon break. I thought I could use a pattern for sale on my website, liked the look of it but didn't know what it was worth.

When I went to bid there was less then a minute left it was at £32 I put a bid of £48 in and I was the top bidder at £46 with a few seconds to go. I left it at that but I went to check if I had won it later, the winning bid was £856.76!

I'm sure this has happened to us all at some point, I wonder if the seller was pleased with the result. I still don't know a lot about the coin but perhaps it has found its market value.
