George V one-sided copper coin?

Hello all,

I'd be very grateful if someone could help me! I found a George V copper coin in an old box which seems to have only been struck on one side. I've had a quick look around (not having a clue about coins!) and can't see any evidence of ghosting or the other side having been ground/sliced off - it just looks too clean as if the other side was never struck.

There's no date etc. on the coin, just the King's head and the inscription: Georgius V Dei Gra Britt Omn Rex Fid Def Ind Imp.

Has anyone got any ideas what this may be?

Is it penny size, halfpenny? Can you weigh it? If you give the diameter and accurate weight, we might be able to give better advice. A picture would help too.
