Am I missing something here?

I would like to have it in hand to be sure but the portrait is wrong for the shilling (looks like it is wrong at least).

It appears that the ties are more like those on the halfcrowns. The shilling first bust has no bow and the second bust has a bow to the top. This one looks like it has a bow to the bottom like the halfcrowns, could of course be a trick of the eye or an altered/forged coin.

There is also something going on in the obverse legend between the E and O.

Rob is likely the man to know!

The listing states that the coin is a Sixpence, the obverse and reverse both look like the correct Sixpence types.

The SS C Sixpence is scarcer than the Shilling, which might explain the higher price.

It's still not worth the money paid, not in that condition. I wonder if somebody (or a few bidders) thinks this is a halfcrown and has bid accordingly. If it had been a halfcrown then the price might be reasonable, although I would have thought anybody with a bit of knowledge might have spotted that it obviously isn't.
