It is Canterbury mint (they couldn't spell in the 13C) and the King is Mr Punch ;)

King and class of coin take a bit of learning...I'm ploughing through Henry V1's first and second bite at being king.Get yourself England's striking history...a bargain and will put you on your way.

Cut halves or even quarters are my demon (60x magnification and still no clue).

Slap shod minting doesn't help with Eddie 1's first issue.A good google search can wipe away the cobwebs.Spink's pictures are a bit rough sometimes and miss mules.(girlfriend of Mr Donkey :) )

I prefer cross patonce or cross fleury BTW a good cheapo Edward 1 site I will send a PM.Prices from £3 for a nice bit of silver. :) Well nice but not on my wish list..should get you started though.
