Going by the prices on Tony Claytons website, the price does not seem that bad pies? Unless I have missed something on that listing

Spink book price is £300 in EF, so it's in the right ballpark.

It would be in the ball park if it was EF, sadly it looks like a raggedy assed GVF complete with rim nicks, edge knocks and scratches to me.

Edward VII always seems to achieve good money in the better grades on eBay, just one of those monarchs I guess!

Only 2 bidders were willing to part with over £80.

It very nearly crashed and burned.

not strictly true my bid was £115 but didnt register as all the snipes went together.

If i was paying that kind of money id need either a proper look and maybe return if not upto spec or buy from a shop

From what you have posted on the forum so far pies, it looks like you have a very good eye for a bargain when it comes to Eddies! I may have to give you a wish list so you can be my personal shopper :)

I would rate it EF but you're right about the general ugliness. Someone paid way too much IMO.

Yes, I'd go with EF or around that, but it's a fairly poor photo and could be lower. I think my valuation would be round about what pies offered, so somebody may well have got carried away.
