I'm a poet and don't know it :)

Yey, that works even better :D ... Grammatically correct too, Peck take note ... :D

True, but there isn't any combination of "t" and "o" (or even "oo") :D

Lass mich überlege und komm ich zurück :)

Hi Nickie.......welcome to the forum.......the olympic 50p collection certainly seems to have started a lot of people on the path of coin collecting.

just a few words of advice........if your thinking of buying coins from ebay, ebay sellers describe many 50p coins as very rare or extremely rare and theyre not, dont be fooled into paying over inflated prices for coins that are fundamentally worth at best 50p!!!.

enjoy the forum

Hi Nicky, welcome to the forum. Yes you may be increasing the (known :D ) female population by 50%! Everyone's very friendly and helpful here. I'm sure you will learn lots and good luck with finding those coins. I would recommend the check your change by the way! :)

Welcome to the forum Nicky. I would venture to suggest that you've increased the female population by 100% (unless there's something strange going on), but then I'd be accused of being to maths what Peckris is to english :D

Viccy Silver isn't a female then? :o<_<

Viccy Silver i think refers to Victoria silver and probably the area of collecting. Welcome to the Forum weebo

Yes, I was only joking, who is the other one then if there is one? Pureangel is female but doesn't post ...

Just observing at the mo because somebody got me looking at coins :)

Hi Nicky and welcome! As you can see, sometimes threads here drift away from the original topic, but we're a friendly lot (mostly!)

A few more 50p designs here; http://www.royalmint.com/discover/uk-coins/coin-design-and-specifications/fifty-pence-coin. I suggest trying to find them in change. None are rare though a few might take a while to find.
