hi

someone gave me this strange two pounds coin which is lot bigger than the one we have these days. it is dated 1995 in sides and it says 1945 in peace goodwill.and it has got dove on one side.

is it worth two pounds that it says? or someone just gave me dodgy coin.

yes it's one of the old commemorative ones before the 1997 bimetal issue was introduced. The older ones are legal tender, take it to the bank/post office they should change it for you!

Failing that you can spend them... i've spent one but they don't always take kindly to it! :lol:
