Are the Chinese faking these now

Recommended Posts

The ones that are actually described as "replicates" (sic) are pretty obvious fakes, to be honest. The most worrying item there is the florin.

Good work Seuk!

Yes the florin seems the least unconvincing, here it is for anyone who wants to avoid visiting this horrible site and having nightmares!

Bang to rights the Mr Dinsdale...... Mofo....

So he was buying at $59.99 which is around £38 and they were selling on eBay at around the £100, in total he sold 12 from August to october thats around £744 profit less the eBay fees on those 12 Coins alone

im sorry but i feel i cannot give any support to anyone who has a history of marketing items that are clearley forgeries, as original. Youve sold rare coins at the values (hundreds if not thousands) of original items, that simply arent worth anything at all. when this was discovered, you initially denied it, lied about it. but then conceded, that you did sell these items. BUT NEVER DID YOU OFFER TO RE-IMBURSE THOSE WHO YOU HAD SOLD FAKES TO.

and when pressed for an answer to the question " would you be contacting those people you had mis-sold to" you said NO........anyone looking at this email should seriously take a look at the pre-decimal.com forum and the coincommunity.com forums to see the extensive discussions that have taken place with regard to this sellers forgeries.

He's maybe gearing up to sell the forgeries (which he probably still has) under the other username. You should have sent him the alibaba link to the 1864 florin and said that we found now where he was buying them

In the councinmubity forum someone commented that he'd been selling fake spanish 8 reales, this other seller he's touting is selling on here 251200540790 add link please

Is that on alibaba i wonder

Absolute sham.

All we can do is name and shame anyone who tries to pass these off.

On another forum a TPG company was being blamed for slabbing a fake...it turn out the slab was fake too. :(

You might want to Pass in the link to coincommunity forum Peter of the 1864 florin, especially to andyg and Point out that its also from China and not some other foreign field. I know how he hates to be wrong, but this time we're right. I'd do it myself but the prix banned me for f all

Stuart i got banned for basically standing up against fakes and one tit saying that roydinsdales admission of guilt was no admission of guilt by andyg, i cannot take seriously a tool who thinks that an admission by the perp is in fact not a guilty plea, the guy is a tool. Then i was told i was alienating an entire nation by calling them CHINESE fakes.........OMFG!!!!!!! sorry eh..........Completre numpties over there.
