Hi

This may seem a silly question, but seeing how I am still learning about old british coins I will ask it

On Ebay there is a penny coin 1858 and says it has OT. On the books I have read there wasnt a penny that year with OT. Have I miss read it or am I slowly going mad

kind regards

Alan

Hi Alan

Buy yourself collectors coins GB 2012/13 edition for about £5...Amazon or this site.

You will be amazed at the details.7 varieties listed. :)Ornate trident???

You can move onto Freeman,Peck,Gouby,Satin...but at a cost :(

If you are serious buy them before the coins.

There is free info available here and much knowledge. :)

Which book did you read? It's in Spink and is a fairly common coin. Here's mine:

Perhaps because there isn't a Plain Trident 1858, the book you're using doesn't mention OT. They are all OT. :D

kinder on Sunday on the Suffolk coast can't wait. :)

His sire has produced over 200 dogs/bitches and it will be mad.
