Help Please - Unknown Coin

Recommended Posts

Hello

My name is Adam and I have been collecting for many years with help from my Nan and late Granddad. I have been going over the collection which he left me and have come across a coin unknown to me that stuck in the box as it is so old and the face I can see has faded considerably (It isn't in great condition). I have figured out it is from the Queen's coronation but I have no idea of the value of the coin and many of the finer details about it, such as; is it part of a collection?, or were there many produced. These are the details I can see on the coin:

- Date on coin is 2nd June 1953

-Elizabeth II name on the top

-Picture is of a Ship (with the Sail on top left) middle is a crown on what appears to be a cushion, with 2 trumpet players on the left hand side.

-It is Bronze

Any help in being able to tell me the history of the coin and and any details about it would be much appreciated.

Many Thanks

Adam

Hi Adam, and welcome. We on the forum unfortunately don't have ESP, so if you could post a picture of said coin it would be more helpful than a description.
