Is it definitely an 'E' Rob? If it was £ instead a simple backwards alphabetic code would have Z as zero, Y as 1, X= 2 etc to L being 14. £14/0/0

Just an idea .... Of course, you'd need a couple of other coin tickets from the same collector to check ... anything in Eaglen?

Definite EL, which is printed as part of the catalogue. Eaglen doesn't even mention him, let alone show tickets
