Wish And Trade Lists Of Williamiii

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone!

Here is what I am looking for (Farthing, halfpennies and pennies)

If you have something older than what I am asking, I will be interested.

Down the message, other denominations are what I can trade you for your coins. I live in Canada, so shipping will be in consequences. I'm not buying anything, just trade, and I hope we will do great deals! :)

I think you will have to add some grades to the pieces you have for disposal before anyone would be interested. It is not just a simple case of all coins being equal and you just swap them at random. Some will be higher in value than the others, e.g. I admire your optimism and assume it is added in for completion's sake, but I think the idea of a copper 1860 being available for swaps is somewhat naive. I'd like one too. They can be picked up for somewhere between £5-10K and the total number known can probably be counted on your fingers..

I know for the big version in 1860... And yes, I took a list with the dates/ varieties. Like the 1882 penny, without H...

The canadian and british gradation standards are not the same. A "fine" here could be a "good" to you, or vice-versa. I can put an appromaximation, but I don't want you to have a bad surprise, this is why I send pictures.

Also,

What sort of grades are you looking for??

Or is any grade acceptable???

Any grade are acceptable, I just want to be able to read the year!

Thanks!

I can probably get hold of mid grade 1895 YH farthing.

you might get lucky with variaties, but not the 1860 copper, we all want one, very few of us have anything as rare.

try Ebay for the pre 1806, plenty of William III around for nex to nothing, and the variaties, you can get lucky.

A forum member has an 1877 narrow date penny for Säle for $13,000 if that interests you. Think its VF or so

 Don't be a tease Dave! $13,000 is certainly out of my budget and I'm guessing William's aspirations are ... towards the modest side too. (Apologies if you're a billionnaire Wiii !)

But what I do think is a good idea is to collect .. not the coins, but the images of ones you can't afford or the best condition you can find. With grade, price and seller details you could find it a very useful resource in years to come William, when hopefully you will be so wealthy you'll be able to pick up the odd ££,000 coin at the drop of a hat!

Just an idea!

(But if you do buy the '77 nd William, we'll expect photos of course!)

Hahaha!!! Maybe one day I will be billionaire, but not for now! :P

The reason why I ask for any grades, it's because British coins are hard to find where I live. A trip in London is one of my projects!

Sure I look for the best grades available if you have nice stuff!
