Lead Cartwheel Pennies 1807 And 1797

Hello everybody. Need Your help again. I came across those coins.i have never seen like it before. Cartwheel penny I found while metal detecting. 1807 I just bought on car boot sale. Can you tell me why are they made of LEAD and what for.

whatever its made of i recon it would be better off as scrap

Well, it is made from white heavy bendy metal .i don't know for sure but I think it is lead.it might be scrap but I was wondering if someone knows what it was made for.

Lead or pewter are often used for casting counterfeits (garden shed effort).
