Neil, it is good to see you here...forgive me for sniggering but it was quite comical to see you get hung for something you had not done :D ......too honest for your own good...but not a bad trait to have in my opinion

Yep, great to see you on here Neil ... coincidentally I received the September update email from your site earlier today, is there an easy way for you to highlight new stock into a summarised section (as well as it being highlighted in the full listings)?

Thanks for all the kind comments and with regard to Colin I hate to see people dissatisfied which is why I apologised before I even knew it wasn't us at fault!!! Paulus with regard to getting all the new stock summarised in one place it is something we are looking at doing because I think it wood be a good idea also!!!! Peter I do have a lot of good stories not sure all would be appropriate on a public forum lol regarding some of the escapades of other dealers ;-)

'Really sir, I was only going to mention that your rear light is a little dim'.

Hi Neil, nice to make your acquaintance.

Colin,

I couldn't quite understand but when I read the post I knew I had taken the phone off the hook for 10minutes to go and grab a sandwich and thought it too much of a coincidence!!!!

Thank you very much for clearing it up and hope you manage to sort your coins out!!!

Kind regards,

Neil

Allow me to apologise as well Neil. I unfairly pinned possible blame on you, when Colin talked about a very well known coin dealer based in the North.

For my own part I can honestly say that all my personal dealings with you have been nigh on perfect. Ironically enough, I've never rung, only e mailed.

Azda, you would be surprised how many customers I have who don't even own a computer!! In fairness a lot these chaps will be 70+ and there are still those who like to have the list in hard copy format just for their records.

Peckris is over 100 and he's up to date on Computers ;)

True. I was only saying to Alan Turing the other day that IBM really should move out of calculators into the new Sperry-Rand valve machines - can't let ENIAC take all the credit ;)

Well, I need to clear this one up .....no, it wasnt Colin Cooke .....up North to me is anywhere North of Watford..!

I have never had any problem with 'Colin Cook' coins, quite the opposite and I must say I am very impressed with the way Neil Paisley stepped up to the plate and apologied ...even though there was absolutely no need and I would never begrudge a man his lunchtime sandwhich..

Colin

Ditto, also impressed. I started buying coins from CC way back in the early eighties and was always pleased with the service and the coins. I must admit though I have not been a customer in recent years but I too would be interested in the PDF sales list and think its a great idea.

I visited Bletchley Park last year, and left as utterly ignorant about how Enigma was cracked, as when I entered. There were some frighteningly intelligent people there during the last war, including Turing. His eventual fall from grace and demise were unfair and unfitting for such a great mind.

Colin,

Just as a point of interest, I'm guessing you already know about StJames' 0% commission on lots over £1k?

Most gifted individuals tend to lose the Plot in their latter years due to the amount of grey matter they use during their Lifetime, or so i read. Peck is ok is that department as others just lose the plot naturally ;)

Since four loveable mop-tops from my home town had rather a big hit with it in 1963?

I don't think Dave's spelling is bad.

I believe he has a battered mars bar in one hand and....I won't go any further as it is before the watershed. :) & the both of you stop squabbling.

Getting back to Turing.

A brilliant mind who was treated appallingly.
