Peck, freeman, groom, are a good starting point, covering the period 1558-to modern decimal! :)

Farthings from 1799 to 1956 are well covered in Collectors coins GB.

This would be an excellent start.

A great denomination to choose, Colin Cooke's catalogue of his collection is also a worthwhile purchase if you can get hold of a copy
