Wow did'nt realise he was followed. I'm assuming he stopped for a Break somewhere and his Car robbed, is that correct?

Still, a scary situation that someone is actually following you with the intention to rob. This has to be a rob to order job surely

Potentially. Or someone just sees you in the market and decides to follow you home waiting for an easy opportunity. A shame.

There have been a number of robberies a few have happened in Birmingham, I am sure Dave craddock was followed home he is local to Birmingham, 3 assailants robbed him and actually sprayed him with pepper spray!! I am sure that is correct - this is why I always check whether I am being followed - fortunately it is a fair distance back to Manchester and the speed I drive I think I would be fairly confident if I was being followed!!! Still u can't be too cautious!!!

Usually in Birmingham and larger shows it is the dealers with a large quantity of gold that are targeted!!!

My every sympathy goes out to Lloyd, it must be terrible to experience that! I just can't get over the fact he left the stock unattended in the car though?

I've always hated transporting my own coins around, because even stopping to pick up a pint of milk at the garage has me ladened like a mule to do so! The number of occasions where we've (my wife and I) sacrificed doing something together, because the other has to wait patiently in the car with the locks down, is beyond counting!

Is it common for cars to have internal motion detectors. They tended to be troublesome for false alarming. Widows are a favourite because they dont alarm.

Assuming that's a question, relevant and directed at me, Friday. My comment was originally meant to convey my surprise, in that I wouldn't feel comfortable doing that. I'd definitely seek to restore my stock to the bank or safe before going to the pub, but I suppose it depends upon the exact situation at the time.

A very good point. It's something they do largely in Russia, as can be seen with the plethora of Russian car crash compilations on YouTube, and I'm sure would have considerable results in the UK.
