Hi I'm new to this and was hoping to get a coin ID'd, unfortunately I can't upload a photo because the file is to big so I'll have to describe it.

It is a small brownish coin with Victoria on one side with a bun. Above her are the words "Victoria dei gratia" and a date underneath her of 1850.

On the other side of the coin is a picture of Britannia facing right with the words "britanniar reg fid def" above it and a weaving of a clover, rose and thistle.

If anyone could help me asap it would be really appreciated, thanks,

James

It should be a farthing. No pennies, halfpennies or fractional farthings were struck in 1850. Presumably the diameter is about 21mm?

Hopefully fixed now, it looked like remnants from my attack last year, a redirect file still contained a portion of the inserted code. I would appreciate if anyone does get a message that they PM with the error message so I can double check.

All seems fine now, Colin.
