Yes welcome aboard TanV !

I have not received my invoice yet,,,,,, perhaps I will be asked whether I would like to raise my pre-bid to the reserve on a couple of items ?

No - I haven't received an invoice either.

Emailed them around noon yesterday (Mon) and no reply either.

In my case I know I have won lots, as I bid live online and got the congratulatory messages that my a couple of my bids were successful.

Fingers crossed for some news today.....

Two years or so ago I received a notification that I had won a lot - three months after the event.

As it transpired, I had filled the order in the interim, so complained at the delay which I reasonably assumed had been won by another bidder (at my maximum) and they didn't require me to pay for it. Credit where due for that as mistakes do happen, but the winning bid at my maximum meant that was the last time I bid with them. I have always given instructions to bid as cheaply as possible up to a maximum figure. Unfortunately it appears that cheaply as possible and maximum are synonymous.

Likewise, I should have won at least one lot... It went for $50 below max bid!

Both on the penny, and getting your invoice before me.

You may well do! The invoice arrived by email. I paid and received immediate acknowledgement, stating they will be shipped within 5 days.

Interestingly, if I log into my account on their website it still shows no invoices so their automated back-office appears not to work.

Okay I received an invoice by email a little earlier, and it took about half an hour to show up in my account at Nobles.

The invoice appears to only be for the lots I submitted pre-bids for, not the successful live bids.

This is okay with me as I have a daily limit on bank transfers anyway.

Can't wait to get the first lot, contains a very nice George I roses and plumes shilling which I can't wait to lay hands on !

Good luck with your pennies. When I successfully bid at DNW it took just on 2 weeks to receive my parcel so you should have the pennies well before Christmas if the southerly trade winds are as fair as the northerly ones.

cheers Garrett.

Congratulations on your shilling... Enjoy it!

I could have asked my brother to collect the pennies, as he's in Aussie for the cricket! I'm sure UPS, or whoever they use, will manage before Christmas though.

Cheers.

Does anyone know why Noble haven't updated their website since the November 2013 auction? I was quite pleased with my purchases and looking forward to future sales, but the homepage still previews an auction which finished nearly 3 months ago!

Let's just say that the Noble team are all over 70 years old (sorry Gerhardt!) and have only embraced internet technology with a toe-in-the-water approach...
