Edward III pre-treaty penny of London. EDWARDVS only appears in Ed.III.

To answer your question, many Pre-Treaty London pennies have an annulet in each quarter, in my experience. From a quick glance yours appears to be type D.

Here are a couple of my examples that illustrate the annulets.

would this coin come with a certain class of D please,

I would say so, yes. Closed C and E with a normal-tailed R, as opposed to wedge-tailed.

Thanks again clive, Is the pellet on his chin normal for this type of coin please.

Entirely normal.

Also his nose the die looks like it was not in good shape ?

Quite possibly a worn die, but you do see some anomalies on the dies, especially on the nose and chin.

Nothing abnormal from what I can see.

Thanks so much clive, I have a few coins that I have only a vague idea on what they are there not in great condition but if you would be so kind when your spare time permits (that's if you do get any) to take a look at them it would be appreciated.
