I've heard Ozzy Osborne and Black Sabbath are doing a reunion tour and are doing Munich, so that's on my list for next year. Peter, what do you think of Bowies newer stuff? I personally think he went downhill after the late 80s

Dave's, Tom's, Peter's and mine are all 'inline' videos. (In my case, all I did was copy and paste the address url at the top of the YouTube window.)

Everyone else's are clickable links (sorry gents, that's too many for me to chase up).

Agreed he has gone through phases. Some I enjoy more than others.

He has been at the top for 40 years and I would pay good £ to see him again.

Ozzy should be fun with the oldest rockers in town. :)

Nice variation on a dance classic - what a powerful voice!

(song starts at 33 seconds)

How about a bit of music from Stuart's band? :) - says he hoping it is ok.

Hah, yes, I'd certainly put it up if I could! All our tracks are on tape...though I do mean to organise a digital transfer at some point soon (ish)! :D

While I enjoy a bit of Bowie, my favourite track of his is actually this one.

"Orchestral Metal" band Apocalyptica accompanied by Rammstein's Till Lindemann do Heroes!

And with the mention of Rammstein, this has to be one of my all-time favourites.

Thank goodness we've broken away from what I still think of as 'indie rock'! But, it doesn't prevent me from posting this :D

Do you understand the lyrics?

I got the bit about birds not singing and without you, but not much more! But then I can't speak Spanish and still enjoy Shakira!

It is funny having Shakira song as ringtone on my phone in Ukraine - people expect to hear either Russian or English on my phone. I listen to much Spanish language music - actually like Latin music.

Try that one:

I will go into the firs,

there where I her last seen,

but the evening threw a cloth onto the country,

and on the ways term edge of forest,

and the forest rises so black and empty,

pain me oh pain,

and the birds do not sing no more

Without you I cannot be,

without you,

with you am I also alone,

without you,

without you count ' I the hours,

without you,

with you the seconds stand,

are not worth

On the branches in the ditches,

it is now quiet and without lives,

and breathing falls me oh so heavily,

pain me oh pain,

and the birds do not sing no more

Without you I cannot be,

without you,

with you am I also alone,

without you,

without you count ' I the hours,

without you,

with you the seconds stand,

are not worth, without you

and breathing falls me oh so heavily,

pain oh pain,

and the birds do not sing no more

Without you I cannot be,

without you,

with you am I also alone,

without you,

without you count ' I the hours,

without you,

with you the seconds stand,

are not worth, without you

Without you!

Without you!

Without you!

Thanks! I do like a bit of World Music. Is that ethnic Greek, or is it Arabic music played by Greeks?

Nice! But it definitely has an Arabic feel. Mind you, Greeks and Arabs still bicker about who invented "baklaVA / paklAAva"
