Baldwins New Yor Sale

I noticed a few halfpennies (including an 1869) and pennies in this sale. For those that like such things ... Pages 111-116

That sale is held at the New York International Coin Fair (NYICF), in New York City. I usually go to that one, but it is usually so cold there, I decided to go to the Florida Coin Expo instead this year. They are held at the same time. The Florida Expo is a lot bigger (1000 tables) than the NYICF, but the New York show is more directed to World Coins. I am going to like the 75 degree weather in Florida a lot better though! Ha,Ha!

I went to the Florida Expo in Orlando last year - it's HUGE and I enjoyed the experience. But I was really disappointed that there were very few dealers with British coins.

Chris,

The reason you didn't find many World coin dealers in the Florida Expo, is that the New York International Coin Fair is being run at the same time, and that is where most of the British Coins are! Ha,Ha! If you haven't visited the NYICF, you should go sometime, most of the Noteable European Dealers are there. Watch out for the hotel pricing though $350-$400/ night!
