Many people who post about their coins do not realize that we (the members of the forum) cannot value or identify a coin unless we know the exact specifications of the coin. The country (generaly helps), the size, metal type and a brief description of the designs and words usually helps (If it is in a language such as Iranian and your keyboard can not type the words then please put a description of what the letters are like).

Example pictures of foreign coins (for aid of identification):

Austrailian Penny

Australian 50 Cents

Sri Lanka 1 Stiver

Gurnsey 8 doubles

India 1/4 Rupee

India Half Rupee

Jersey 1/12 Shilling

Please also use the search facility in this forum because we often find that the same kinds of things get asked twice. Remember that the list of topics you see cuts off after a certain number of days, and that there is an awful lot of info to explore in here.

Thanks for visiting.

And is Iranian a language, or do they speak Arabic?? I don't know.

I like what you did in the other section JMD, that's why I made it a bit more official, but with respect, you don't really know all that much about Foreign or Ancient coins, and now I have to take the time to go through making your unofficial rules more official!

Like I said before though, i do like your enthusiasm.
