My Goodies Have Arrived

So the 5kg of old and foreign coins arrived today. On a very brief inspection I've already found C19th pennies in better condition than mine as well as some current Euros and then a real hotch potch. Any interesting discoveries I'll post later.

I remember the days when you could buy inexpensive bulk lots of hammered silver off eBay, those were the days and I thoroughly enjoyed the research.

Unfortunately the attached didn't turn up in my searches but didn't want to keep clogging up the forum with multiple posts. Could I ask people's thoughts on it?

In relation to the initial post, so far, unsurprisingly nothing has amazed me, but I've still got over 75% to go through

Its a decent coin but not a coin i want to bid on, i put quite a few on my watch list, this was one of those

Yes - it's a very nice example of that particular halfcrown. It will set you back a fair few hundred £ though...
