Next one is on Guy Fawkes afternoon (November 5th). Do you like the headline on the website...

'Gunpowder, treason and (radio) slot' ? I thought that was pure genius!

And, i'll be doing the programme with some old Guy, who just happens to be my Dad! He knows a thing or two about medals and the listeners will be invited to phone in on medals and coins.

Like father like son eh? :D

The shop where I work seels the most fireworks in Essex, even though we are a bike/toy shop, we also sell guns, fireworks etc. Last year, the queue reached 25 metres down the street for fireworks!

Dammit I wish they would put the shows on the site to download, or at least transcripts.

I know, I can't get it where I live. Maybe I should e-mail them to ask for a download.

I have one of the programmes on CD, but it's massive even at bad quality. It's nothing very advanced, usually the callers have rubbish. Sometimes there's the odd interesting thing.

I'll try and get it then........I'll have to turn it on as soon as I walk in the door (around 3.45)

P.S: I can't believe that your school day finishes at 3.40 JMD! For me it is 3.20 but I usually stay for coursework clubs etc.

I am at school for 8.00 but my lessons don't start until 9.00. We have a 20 minute break in the morning and an hour for lunch. :)

I used to start a 9.00 and finish at 3.00 and when school finished i used to get as far away from the place as possible as quick as possible.

Uni is 9.15 start at the earliest, i think the latest finish is about 5.15.

This year i only have 6 hours teaching time a week, my earliest is 9.15 and my latest finish is 1.15. But i work through dinner, so there's not 12.15-1.15 break for me.

Oh and i get tuesdays and fridays off.
