P&m Groat.

Hi folks,just thought I would ask what you think the grade of this groat is,I think someone deliberately slashed her across the neck,looks worse on the pic.Ive found several Mary groats over the yrs but this is the best portrait I've had to date,not sure how this pic is gonna turn out so apologies if it's a bit naff.

Really nice coin, an easy VF, but a real shame about that wound! Looking at the 4 O'clock field on the reverse, I'd say it's pretty significant myself, though

Edit: to add bugger, touched the 'submit' button on the phone by accident! :)

Great coin, however, especially for this later groat...still prefer the elegant version of her bust myself! ;)

Thanks mate,yes a shame about the damage,but it looks ok in the hand & will stay in my collection,unless I find a better example ( not very likely ).
