Unfortunately I'm not experienced at reading late Anglo Saxon legends I just can't make sense of either the moneyer or town.

EPRED? ON []ENT[][]?? Any ideas anyone?

And the obverse. Edward the Confessor helmet penny. S.1179 (?)

Canterbury mint. Moneyer is likely to be Aelfred.
