It occurred to me that I find myself looking on this forum for new posts far more times a day than is probably necessary and was curious if anyone else finds themselves doing the same.

Yes. Welcome. It is nearly 2 in the morning and I have also looked too often. Mind you, I frequently leave the forum open on a tab, so end up looking by default when I close something down.

There is also a temptation to check for any replies to a post you might have made. I blame it on not being usefully employed elsewhere, so it gets used as a time filler.

It's 3.45 now Rob. Strange time to be awake. Maybe I should find myself a hobby?

We'll I'm on the wrong side of the planet and out of kilter with the mainstream forum. Still, I'll check the forum quite often daily on my iPhone. (More interesting than games)

I switch regularly between here and the other forums I'm a member of (buttons on my bookmarks bar!) - I do like to see 'New Content', but from time to time a whole day goes by before I check!

I call in on a regular basis.

Often interesting threads (plus when Mrs Peter watches Eastenders.)

Like Rob, I keep it open on a tab, so pretty much whenever I'm on the internet I'll check. And I admit I'm on a lot, lookin for the barginz. :P

Sometimes for new topics, sometimes to see replies to a post, other times just to check for spam (of which we've been thankfully free recently).
