Thank's Mr T i will keep that in mind. Peck i'm going with your method. I

immersed the coin today in virgin olive oil and will turn and change when needed.

I will post a photo in the next couple of months to see if there is any approvement.

Should be interesting, great show and thank's for all your advice.

It looks a lot better, though I'm not sure why it's so much paler? Vinegar will do that overnight, but not usually olive oil.
