Coin identification

I am a novice to coins,and have come across this strange one.It is a copper type metal,One and one sixteenth inches across, one sixteenth inch(approx)thick.It has a smooth edge.It has dots on each side going round the coin next to the edge.One side depicts : A crown at the top,large letters F.C. but as written by hand in upper case (don't know names of font styles),and a figure 1 at the bottom. On reverse side at top,centre,is figure 1 with a "blob" each side,at the bottom is the date,1840,with 3 small letters that I can't quite make out.In the middle are letters that look like(a couple are a bit obscure)

Top line;KOIIb,an N with the slope going the wrong way,KA

Bottom line;SEPLMOMb

Has anyone any idea what it might be?

You have a 1 kopeck from Russia. The "FC" on the obverse is actually an "H" for Nicholas I (Nicholas, in Cyrillic, starts with an H), Czar of Russia from 1825-1855. On the reverse, below the date, there should be 2 or 3 small letters: EM (Ekaterinaburg Mint) or CIIM (St. Petersburg Mint)
