1953 2+A Farthing

Recommended Posts

Hi, I've just joined the group and recently saw a post regarding a 2+A 1953 Farthing that someone was after. I have one of these in EF with some remaining lustre and was wondering (A) if the person was still looking, and (B) what value would it be as I can't find any prices for this coin anywhere. Pete

Can you post a picture? Someone's always looking :)

A currency issue in UNC with ~ full lustre and you're talking a lot of money but I think a steepish fall in prices for something with wear.

The last one I sold was about EF with some traces of lustre and I sold that for about £30 if my memory serves me well.

£25 to £40.00 sounds about right , price drops off a cliff if coin has no luster though.

I did manage to obtain one of these in the end (in a toned VF) through a tip off from a forum member, but if yours is a decent example then I'd be willing to go up to £50 for it. Pictures please, or PM me.
