Recommended Posts

Guest dvon76

Can anyone in here tell me what this coin is worth? I have a 1968 ireland penny with the harp on the front and the hen with chicks on the back and I am wondering what it is that I have. I have been told that it may be worth a little something because 1968 was the last year that this particular coin was made. CAN ANYONE HELP ME????????? thanks D Vaughn

You have an Irish Penny, and just like the British 1967 version it's the most common Irish penny ever. Probably worth about 20p if it's in mint condition.
