1953 Proof farthings

I've just acquired the 1953 proof set and notice that the farthing is a type 2A (the least common one). Collectors' Coins implies that the standard proof sets contain the common 2B farthing. Does anyone know what ratio of 2A proofs to 2B proof farthings for 1953 were minted?

I'll also pick the brains of the other CC if I see him this evening.

Not entirly sure, but i think it is about 5% of the 40000 proof farthings that were minted...that would make it around 2000 exist ...worth anything between £60 and £90

(Ratio would be 2000:40000, 200:4000, 20:400, 2:40, 1:20 )

Also, i believe that the 2A proof is far rarer than the 2A non-proof

Interesting. I just picked up a '53 proof set with the same 2A combination on the farthing just two weeks ago. Are they as rare as supposed?

(not one of my better pictures, I'm afraid)
