Is it possible to, at least partly, reverse the damage caused by cleaning? Most cleaning agents have a scouring effect so the coin will be irreverseably damaged but how about bringing back the patina?

:huh: I thought there were ways of chemically treating coins to "appear" aged. Don't some of the coins seen on e-bay look too good??

Artificial Toning...

Covers up the tell tale signs. Spot target toning in particular.
