Hi everyone. I've only been collecting coins since last year. I've come across this 10p. The edge is smooth with no lines, on beading round the shield there are no letters and the top of 2014 and some other letters are barely there. Sorry I don't know the technical terms for these. Is it worth keeping hold of? Also how do I post a photo of it? Thanks for any help

It might be struck on the wrong flan. What is the weight (to 2dp if possible)?

You can add a picture up to 500Kb using the more reply options, or alternatively use a hosting site and link to the image.

I'm not sure of weight, as I don't have scales. Would post office ones work? Sorry I'm not very good with these sights. How do I get to more replies or what hosting sites can be used? Would Facebook work with it?

Scan? That would be less than 500kb.

Hosting sites such as photobucket, tinypic etc would all work.

You don't need to get more replies, it's on the right, at the bottom of where you're typing (picture attached)

Thankyou rob and nordle11 for your help. I think I couldn't find them because I was on mobile site. Will try to post pics from PC when I get home.

Beautiful coin. Are you looking to sell?

At the moment I'm going to keep it as I've only just started collecting. If I was to sell how much would it be worth? At a guess. It's still fairly new so I don't think I'd get much, if it's even worth anything. I started by collecting olympic coins. And also have some old English coins but not many

You might get around £40 quid for it.

Thankyou. Thought it would only be worth a couple of quid at the most. If I do decide to sell I'll keep you in mind. I also have a 2013 50p where the harp lines go both ways and the dots by the lions look like they've been double printed in places, but not all over.
